You knew me and I knew you
At least, I thought that it was true.
Some things just aren't meant to be.
Do you remember what I did,
How you ran away and hid?
But then I found you; closed a door,
But opened up a million more.
And we both stepped through.
You were scared, so was I,
But I knew that it was time.
To put aside my fears.
You knew me and I knew you.
Now I know it wasn't true.
